Village Swap & Donation Pick-Up

4th Annual SWAP & DONATION PICK-UP

It’s back! Time to kick off your spring cleaning and celebrate Earth Day!

Promote reducing, recycling, & reusing items with your neighbors and donate gently used household goods and/or furniture to two local charitable organizations serving those in need: Agrace HospiceCare & Goodwill of South Central Wisconsin.

Please note: The Swap & Donation Pick-Up event is a private (non-public) event for only Village of Shorewood Hills residents + charitable partners Agrace and Goodwill.

1.  A SWAP (10:00am-12:00pm)

Beginning at 10:00am, place unwanted (free to take) household goods & items at the end of your driveway for your neighbors to peruse and provide a new home for. From 10:00am-12:00pm, search around your neighbors’ curbsides for free new treasures to bring home. This is similar to a neighborhood garage sale but without the exchange of money - instead, to promote reducing, reusing, and recycling within our Village. No registration is required to participate. The morning SWAP event is also a good opportunity to set out your unwanted items that are ineligible for the afternoon donation pick-up, including baby & infant items such as swings/walkers/cribs/high chairs/car seats/etc, exercise equipment of any size, bed items such as headboards/footboards/bed frames, sofa sleepers, TVs, and entertainment centers.

2. A DONATION PICK-UP (1:00pm through the afternoon) — Registration has closed.

Afternoon donation pick-ups are for clothing & small household goods and furniture.
